Letterpress Classes:

Crow's Nest Press will soon offer one day weekend classes for creating customized letterpress printed holiday cards, posters, notebooks, coasters and other printed items. 

 

Letterpress 101:

In this two day workshop for beginners held on weekends you will learn all the basics of letterpress  printing. You will learn how to select and set type, use tools, set up a printing press, prep your stock, mix custom ink, and print your own unique items. 

 

Letterpress 102:

In this two day intermediate letterpress workshop you will build on your skill set to create, prep and print on the letterpress. 

 

Letterpress 103:

In this two day advanced letterpress workshop you will add to your letterpress experience learning how to create and produce projects without assistance.  After completion of Letterpress 101,102 and 103 you will be able to rent the studio on a hourly basis to creative your own printed items. 

 

One to One Classes:

If you are seeking additional instruction for a specific method or prefer to take the letterpress 101, 102 and 103 series with the instructor please contact the studio to schedule those classes individually. 

 

Guest Artist Workshops:

Crow's Nest Press will offering an on-going series of guest artist workshops on specific printing techniques and printed items. If you would like to be a guest instructor please contact to the studio to set up a short interview. 

 

Custom Events:

Crow's Nest Press can design and host a custom event for a special occasion such as private party, birthday celebration, team building activity or engagement surprise. Crow's Nest Press will provide concierge services including transportation, and catered meals upon request. Contact the studio for a quote for your event. 

 

 

All of our classes, workshops and events are held at the Crow's Nest Press studio in Clinton, Washington just a few minutes from the Clinton ferry dock on Whidbey Island. Bus service from the ferry dock to the studio location is available if you want to leave your car behind and walk on the ferry. Please note there can be longer ferry lines for cars on Saturday mornings. There are several restaurants and a grocery store in the same complex as the studio where you can purchase coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you drive over with a car there is plenty of parking at the studio and several restaurants nearby for additional meal options.
